The Steven Lauder Foundation was set up as a legacy to one of our founding nurses who tragically died at the end of 2017. The aim of the Foundation is to support our staff in pre-hospital education programmes – an area Steven was passionate about.

Annually, bursaries are given out to successful applicants, who work as part of the SportsMedics team, to support them in participating in pre-hospital and other relevant courses/training programs (e.g PHICIS, BASICS, FREC etc). A year after the foundation’s official launch, over £1500 was awarded and split between 7 people. Those who benefited used the money to complete MMIMS, PHICIS and other emergency skills courses etc.
